What is CUET 2023? 

CUET will provide a single window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country.

the Public Notice issued by the UGC regarding conduct of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission in Undergraduate programs from the academic session 2022-23 in all UGC funded Central Universities in 13 Indian languages by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Why is CUET 2023:

Many state universities, deemed to be universities, private universities and other Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in the country also use either marks of l2th Board or conduct entrance test for admission in UG programmes. To save students from appearing in multiple entrance examinations,conducted on diflerent dates, sometimes coinciding with each other, and to also provide equal opportunity to all students from different Boards, UGC invites and encourages all state universities,deemed to be universities, private universities and other Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to adopt and use CUET score from 2022-23 onwards for admission of students in their UG programs.

What are Central Universities in CUET 2023:

a) Assam University, Silchar

b) Central University of Andhra Pradesh

c) Central University of Gujarat

d) Central University of Haryana 

e) Central University of Jammu

f) Central University of Jharkhand

g) Central University of Karnataka

h) Central University of Kerala

i) Central University of Punjab

j) Central University of Rajasthan 

k) Central University of South Bihar

l) Central University of Tamil Nadu

These are the main 13 universities in India but still there are some other Central Universities like tribal universities etc,.

Offered Courses/Programmes in CUET 2023:

By attempting CUET 2023 we can get admission in various UG Domains / groups /Branches.

Not only UG courses we can  get admission for Integrated courses also (ie., UG+PG) . 

In our term CUET offers admission in to both Degree & Btech courses.

Mode of CUET 2023:

The CUET (UG) - 2023 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. The aspirants who desire to appear for the test, may refer to the Information Bulletin for admission to Undergraduate programmes of the desired Central Universities (CUs) for admission into the Undergraduate Programmes. 

Eligibility Criteria for CUET 2023:

For Undergraduation and Integrated Undergraduation programmes Basic Eligibility is 10+2/Intermediate from any Recognized board 

Level of questions for CUET (UG) -2023:

All questions in various testing areas will be benchmarked at the level of Class XII only. Students having 

studied Class XII Board syllabus would be able to do well in CUET (UG) – 2022.

Choice of Languages and Subjects:

Generally the languages/subjects chosen should be the ones that a student has opted in his latest Class XII Board examination. However, if any University permits any flexibility in this regards, the same can be exercised under 

CUET (UG) -2023 also. Candidates must carefully refer to the eligibility requirements of various Central Universities in this regard. Moreover, if the subject to be studied in the Undergraduate course is not available in the list of 27 Domain Specific Subject being offered, the Candidate may choose the Subject closest to his/her choice for e.g. For Biochemistry the candidate may choose Biology.

Schedule of Examination:

Examination will be conducted on multiple days in two shifts, depending on the number of Candidates and Languages/Tests taken by them.

Exam Dates of CUET 2023:

CUET 2023 is going to be conduct from 21 to 31 May 2023 & 01 to 07 June 2023  

These dates are officially announced by nta on 15 December 2022.
